Contracts Administrator

Full time, Non-Exempt

 

Location: Corporate, Huntsville, Alabama

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

 

1)      Contracts Administration:

 

a)      Oversee all contracts, subcontracts, and task orders:

i)        Act as a point of contact for requesting and receiving Modifications to existing contracts as necessary.

ii)       Performs costing, AR, and proposal participation.

 

b)      Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provide clarification of contract terms and conditions.

 

c)      Experience with Service Contract Act Preferred.

 

d)      Make sure contract requirements flow down to various departments and subcontractors, according to ISO 9001:2000 processes.

 

e)      Organize and manage contract documents and modifications of all contracts:

i)        Prepares and Maintains current and historical records of contractual documents – Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Subcontracts and Task Orders and provides key information to management by means of regular ad hoc reports.

ii)       Responsible for submittals of Request for Quotes (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs).

 

f)        Participate in negotiation of incoming government and non-government contracts for terms, price, etc.:

i)        Ensure that subcontractor negotiations support the Company's goals and enhance the Company's competitive position.

 

g)      Track the contract work flow path to make sure the requirements/procedures/processes of the contract and ISO9001 standards are met.

 

h)      Track cumulative contract revenue.

 

i)        Assist with preparation of proposals.

 

j)        Prepare Purchase Orders.

 

 

2)      Other:

 

a)      Makes effective and persuasive business development presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, etc.

 

b)      Attend various training courses via mentorship programs, etc.

 

c)      Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.  Infinity Technology, Inc. reserves the right to change duties as requirements dictate.

Education and/or Experience

 

§         Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university, Contracts Management degree is a plus

§         Experience in working with all contract pricing models (FFP, T&M, CPFF, CR)

§         Knowledge of FAR, SCA, DCAA, and subcontract compliance and reporting

§         Knowledge of Rate build up

§         Knowledge of Deltek

§         Experience with GSA SIP and ability to use SIP to update GSA schedule

 

 

Language Skills

 

§        Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.

§        Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.

§        Experience with Exostar, Intellectual Property, and Indemnity Rights

 

 

Reasoning Ability

 

§         Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

§         Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in its most difficult phases.

§         Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
