We are expanding in the New Mexico area and are looking for consultants and full-time personnel willing to support government contracts as Quality Specialists and/or Quality Engineers.

Position Duties/Requirements may include:

• Implement process improvements to ensure predictable process outcomes across product development lines (e.g. Risk Reduction, Yield improvements, Customer complaint reduction, Error proofing, Cost Reduction initiatives, Process Automation activities).
• Ensure all process variables and interactions are adequately defined. 
• Implement project wide quality system improvements.
• Support compliance in area of safety mission support and government agencies (DoD and DoE).
• Provide functional expertise to other support functions such as engineering and procurement on quality related issues.  
• Support approval of change requests for product, process and quality system.
• Define process and product validation requirements.
• Compilation of required Regulatory documentation (e.g. Technical files, Design Dossiers, Product transfer files, and other Essential requirements).
• Review trends and implement corrective actions.
• Perform supplier audits.
• Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing.
• Monitor key quality metrics and report on status.

Education, Experience and Skills

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering/Technology preferred or equivalent combination of education/training and experience.

• 4-7 years indirect experience in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent) with direct experience in a QA environment 
• Experience in either nuclear (NQA-1) or  aerospace  (ISO 9000, AS 9000)
• United States Citizen (security clearance preferred).
• Travel may be required.
