In anticipation of a task award, we are looking for a Sr. FPGA Designer for one of our customers in Littleton, CO. The selected candidate will provide labor, services and management necessary to provide FPGA design support to the PDU IPT.  This assignment is expected to last through December 2010 with the possibility of extension.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Develop FPGA specifications;
• Lead/support multiple FPGA architectures’ develop Verification plans;
• Develop Test bench for FPGA design;
• Develop code as needed for Flight FPGA to be used on the Orion project;
• Support the following reviews: FPGA Specification, FPGA architectural, FPGA CODE walkthroughs, FPGA final reviews;

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience:

·         BS in Electrical Engineering or related field is required;

·         Minimum 15 years of experience in digital design; FPGA & ASIC experience; and VHDL experience;

·         Experience with Ethernet, Motor control, Power systems, or Verilog is highly desirable;

• Leadership and direction skills, including the ability to interface with other engineering disciplines;
• Strong customer relationship skills;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Experience working for or with NASA programs preferred.
